Im about to launch my Blog using Blogger and plan to open an Adsense account soon after I have at least 2 weeks worth of posts....and I was wondering If I am allowed to place a link to my Blog on my existing profiles such as 'friendster' and 'myspace' or maybe another website that I have made. Would I be breaking any rules with Adsense and/or Blogger?

absolutely not, you are allowed to link to your blog from wherever you want. at the end of the day, the more traffic you get, the more money google potentially make from your adsense listings so why should they care?
