When is a blogger considered a professional blogger?

is it based on a certain amount of hits his blog receives, a certain amount of money he earns monthly from his blog/s, or is it by simply having something like Google AdSense installed in his blog? What makes a professional blogger different from a regular blogger?

When is a blogger considered a professional blogger?
well I reckon it would be someone who gets payed to blog [i can't even imagine someone being payed to blog], or someone who's a very well-known blogger, and both.
Reply:well, first of all, you've got to be one hell of a writer. then..i guess if you've made a career out of it already (in other words, practically devote your life to it) and countless people have seen and loved your site..and you've been published or featured in newsprint or magazines.. you've got it made.
Reply:What makes anyone a professional is defined by whether they get paid to do it or not. there is no lower limit, you could call yourself a pro blogger if you make $0.01 a day from adsense; as long as you get money for it - but you cant call it your job if u make 1c a day.....
